Been a long minute since I’ve been able to race with y’all. Things been tough nationwide with each part of the country dealing with its own pestilence. The Dirty South took a big hit from a Gulf storm and the wettest spring and summer in decades. Throw in building a new home with all the nations social issues something had to take a back seat. Made 1 or 2 Pro races and had to take a sabbatical. Getting closer to being able to get back in racing hopefully January. This is such a cool addiction and makes you think. Think outside the box. This circle of racers were so helpful during my AM season. Some reached out to me and I to them. Was never shunned by anyone. Quite the opposite. To those that extended your knowledge and techniques thanks from an old wore out drag racer trying to keep the flame burning. Too many to mention and I’ll leave someone out but you know who you are. I enjoy back and forth banter and may rub some the wrong way but it’s all in fun. Just trying to stay light hearted in a mad mad world. Been thinking a lot and eager to get my new test area set up and rolling. Got a lot of ideas that have probably been regurgitated here over and over so the learning curve will be steep in Pro. I know Brian has his popcorn ready and waiting for my return to see what I have. But I’ll try not to intimidate him with my ideas. You know, not show all my cards at first. Ease him into the new world a little at a time. I’ll take it easy in him though. He’s helped me with pointers as well and a very shrewd racer. So shrewd I know he’s rope a doping. Surely he’ll show his hand eventually and actually win a NPWDRL BASX PRO race in 2021 😂😂😂😂🤠🤠🤠🏁🏁

Alphonso Peluso AKA 'The Fonze' has been racing in the leagues since 2016. He was bitten by the pinewood derby bug after he and his son entered their first scout pinewood derby race. Alphonso is an Architect and College Professor who's work is centered around 3D Printing. All of his derby cars are 3D Printed and he was the first racer to build 3D Printed Cars. He spent 2 years perfecting his 3D Printed Car Bodies. In 2018 he became the first racer to win the Man of the Mountain with a 3D Printed Car when he won the Unlimted Championship. You can now purchase the same car bodies that Alphonso has perfected over the years.
