Qualifying for Man of the Mountain race in November

November's race will be the season ending Man of the Mountain race that will crown the Man of the Mountain World Champion.  In order to race in November in a MOTM Class you need to qualify in each class you want to race in, which simply means you have to race in the class in at least ONE Fire or Ice Series Race this season.  Just the builder has to qualify, not each individual car.  You are free to bring brand new cars to the MOTM as long as you have qualified.  In each MOTM class there will be a Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Finals.  Points winners for each of the Fire and Ice series will earn automatic berth in the finals.  Semi and Quarter Finals positions will be based off overall points accumulated this season.  Bottom 50% in total points will start in the Quarters and top 50% will start in the Semis.  Only the top car will advance from the Quarters to the Semis.  The top 4 builders from the Semis (including any cars from the top 3 builders that are faster than 4th fastest builder) will move on to the Finals.  Points will be awarded for Finals finishing spot in the 10 MOTM classes. Total points from each builders best 5 class finishes will be used to determine Overall MOTM World Champion.  There are current qualifying projections on the standings lists for each MOTM class in the boards.  The final qualifying positions will be posted after the October race.  

Scout and BASX Am classes will be run just like normal monthly races.
