Phase 1 DUN !! The Do It For Dale Flying Aces had the fortunate misfortune of wrenching in a garage built in the 40’s with a slab poured inside in the 70’s. Being untreated for for 42 years you can imagine. After a thorough and complete etching and the magic of self leveling concrete mix they now have a slab that’s fried, dyed and laid to the side like before the 68 Olympics (you old skoolers know).

Phase 2 is in need of a system or individual products working in concert that will allow them to have an epoxy finish over a 50 Shades of Gray (young guns know) and the cutie pie paint chips.

The Aces are aware of a former racers product but the budget mined bafoons need to save a buck. Anyone care to drop a link please ? Thanks fellers !!

Ahhh... working on cars in a garage with a hard packed dirt floor, those were the days. Fluid spills....just loosen up some dirt and kick it over the spill. Usually needed a board to set the jack on though. Had a wooden block and tackle hung on the overhead beam. The beam jury rigged to support weight of an engine but still sagged under the load. Dirt floor garages have their own smell too, damp, musty and petroleum smells permeated the air signaling a backyard mechanic on the premises.

You guys were uptown with a garage. We had a sturdy oak limb out in the yard with a block and tackle rig up lifting a 400ci small block chevy to wedge into a chevrolet vega where four cylinders originally lived. Good times for sure having to depend on the weather to get the job done. Many memories with family and friends that I wouldn't trade for anything.
