After alot of head scraching. We have come up with the format for the 1st annual St George Street Rod Clasic. Not wanting to run a regular race. The following format will be used. qualifying will be a regular 2 runs in each outside lane. The fastest 8 (limit of 2 cars per builder) Will then advance to a double elimination bracket. The fastest qualifier will race 8th. 2 vs7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs5. each pairing will race each other in both outside lanes fastest combined time wins. Joel will run until we have a winner. The bracket will determine the first 4 places for the payout. Hope this doesnt confuse everyone.

I like the variation TJ! This will be a nice twist to the normal races.

We have one week to go. Hopefully everyone is lining out their cars. USPS is a bit shaky so I'll be mailing my cars a day early.

I agree with HurriCrane that this is a nice twist in format. It certainly changes my approach on car set up. Still haven't learned how to illiminate the shimmies every other run without taking speed away. Always a work in progress though. Very much looking forward to the event. Thank you for sponsoring.

I would like to thank Brian (Hurricrane) for his help with this, could not have done it with out him. He came up with name also. One last plea for everyone to send in there cars.
