Rules reminders and clarification 2019

Okay guys here are a few reminders and rule clarification. We don't want to start DQ'ing cars, and the competition is getting so tight in every class that all rules need to be enforced to the fullest. So that being said, here are some of the basic that are being over looked at times.
Wheels- All wheels, even the Non-Dominate wheel are subject to the same rules. The tread width needs to be no less than 7.5mm. I can be more but not less. This applies to the entire diameter of the wheel. Wheel weights for BASX are 2.4 gram, SS and SR is 2.0 gram. The tread portion is the flat portion of the wheel the outer diameter that is parallel to the bore. All the wheels on the car are subject to inspection, so all wheels need to be able to be removed with retaliative ease.
Body- The max overall length of the car is 7.0 inches. Any weight stuck on to the back of a car will count against the cars overall length. Make sure the total length is 7 inch or less.
Weight- The max weight is 5.0 ounces. Or 143.00 grams. We will be weighing in grams, the max weight is 143.00 grams. We don't want to have to try and remove weight from your cars, so please check and double check your cars.
Mid America- Per the Mid America rules you must have clear Air shields so that wheel inspection can be done without wheel removal.
