2019 NPWDRL Schedule
Ten (10) MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN classes (BASX Pro, Street Stock, Street Pro, Eliminator,
Unlimited, Fat Wheels Limited, Fat Wheels Unlimited, BASX Mini, Street Rod & Mid America)
plus two (2) non-MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN classes (Box Stock and BASX Am) will be run every

ICE & FIRE SERIES MONTHLY FORMAT INFORMATION
Each standard, monthly race will consist of a PRELIMINARY round
and an additional FINALS round for those classes with 10 or more cars.
The PRELIMINARY round will be all eligible cars of a given class raced together, each car raced

ICE & FIRE SERIES POINTS INFORMATION
The ICE & FIRE Series are both “POINTS” only series. Each series will
consist of five monthly races. You will earn points in each of the Ten
MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN classes that you race in each month. The Ten
MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN classes are BASX Pro, Street Stock,
Street Pro, Eliminator, Unlimited, Fat Wheels Limited,
Fat Wheels Unlimited, BASX Mini, Street Rod & Mid America.
Points for the ICE Series will be accumulated January
through June (May is a Fun Race).
Points for the FIRE Series will be accumulated July
through November.
Point Structure for each MOTM race in the ICE & FIRE Series: 1st-100, 2nd-90,
3rd-85, 4th-82, 5th-80, 6th-79 and so on down to 1 point.
BASX AM & BASX PRO points are combined, and the Point
Structure will be as follows: The Pro class will be given points
first: 1st-100, 2nd-90, 3rd-85, 4th-82, 5th-80, 6th-79
and so on in 1-point increments down to the last BASX PRO Racer.
The 1st place BASX AM racer will earn the next point value
after the last BASX PRO racer, with all other BASX AM racers

Qualified races will be run in the 10 MOTM Classes (BASX Pro,
Street Stock, Street Pro, Eliminator, Unlimited, Fat Wheels Limited,
Fat Wheels Unlimited, BASX Mini, Street Rod & Mid America)
Non-Qualified races will be run in Box Stock & BASX Am.
Everybody is invited to race in the NON-QUALIFIED race classes!
No need to QUALIFY, or earn points, by racing during the season in the NON-QUALIFIED
classes to race at the MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN WORLD FINALS
Non-Qualified races will follow the standard monthly race format
including a PRELIMINARY race in each class and FINALS race for classes with 10 or more cars.
QUALIFYING FOR THE MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN WORLD FINALS
Participation in the Qualified/MOTM classes at the MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN WORLD FINALS
race in December require that a racer earn points by racing at least once
in an ICE and/or FIRE series monthly race for the class(es) he wishes to race in December.
Qualifying Points for the MAN OF THE MOUNTAIN WORLD FINALS are a total of
ALL the points earned in BOTH the ICE & FIRE Series

QUARTERFINAL ROUND
Builders with less than 50% of the total point accumulation of the class's top builder
(cumulative points earned during the ICE & FIRE Series),
but at least 1 point qualify for the QUARTER FINAL round.

SEMIFINALS ROUND
All builders within the top 50% (see explanation above) and the winner from the
QUARTERFINAL round qualify for the SEMIFINALS. Four builders from
QUARTERFINAL round qualify for the SEMIFINALS. Four builders from
the SEMIFINAL round move on to the FINALS. This will
include any cars from the top 3 builders that are faster than the
4th place car.
FINALS ROUND
The ICE & FIRE Series points champions of each class and the top 4 builders
(see above for explanation of cars from top 3 that are faster than 4th place car)

from the SEMIFINAL round qualify for the FINALS. The FINALS may feature a total of
5 or 6 builders, because it is possible than one builder wins

To account for classes with particularly high or low car totals,
the MOTM CHAMPION points available for each class will be weighted
according to the number of builders in each the class.
If a class has 1-6 builders the allocated scores above are reduced

by 2 points each. If a class has 7-14 builders the points will stay the
