Ive registered 7 cars as follows:

FWU - QED, Inner Peace
BASX- Purple Rain
SS- Surreal
SP - Predator
Eliminator - Jimmy John
Unlimited - When Doves Cry

Besides QED and Predator (wasn't ready in time for MA nationals) all the other cars raced at MA and had a quick wheel cleaning pit stop in the Zeebzob shop (thanks Andy) before he packed them and Greg shipped them (thanks) to Joel.

Good luck to all racers this Sat and a huge shoutout to all the rookies racing first time - welcome !

Man, I was hoping we'd have a big enough pool of Box Stockers to see a finals round this time, but we need three more builders to make that happen. Too bad some of the folks who said they'd send in had to pull out.

Hah, this is the second time in a row I've sent in a fenderless Box Stock because I just haven't been able to find the time to mess with balsa.

Have you tried Bulldog's how-to video?

Don't feel like you have to build fenders to run Box Stock. Plenty of racers have had success in that class without fenders, including myself, Veterans Freedom Center, True North, Cramjet, JMR, etc. Take a look at the monthly top 3 pictures and you'll see this.

You'll also find a lot of top Box Stock builders using 3d printed fenders such as GEE or the like. I used some Laserman fenders on my Box Stock. I think the 3d printed fenders are an easy introduction to fenders and can help teach some of the basic concepts while you gain confidence in your building skills.
