I can’t say I’ve ever heard that before. When did you ship your cars?

I gave them to UPS on Sunday and got them back yesterday. On the box was a lithium battery sticker, that I felt was was covered enough, but someone at UPS felt otherwise, so they sent it back...

From the MA website, they say, "Cars MUST be received at the above address on or before Wednesday - May 4th. Any cars received after this date will NOT be received in time to race. Plan accordingly!!".

Good luck to everyone, I'll catch you at the next race in June, my mini was running pretty fast, so watch out!

I'm quite sure they will allow your cars to race if you are willing to expedite. I would at least ask UPS to overnight on thier dime though. I've been where you are at now and I feel your pain.

I built all new cars. I wasn't at all aggressive on my weight placement for their first run down a track. Just want to see how they run. I thought about it and my Mid America oil division fenders might not clear the curve. Guess we'll wait and see. Still excited, even if they all run dead last. Gotta shake off the rust somehow.

Our box has not moved from the Omaha sort facility since 4:00 am yesterday, so I called.
maybe Friday, maybe Saturday, maybe Monday so Maybe we're racing.
Hand delivering my mess next year.

I'm in the same boat as Jupiter. Shipped my cars overnight with FedEx on Tuesday, with guaranteed delivery by Wednesday.
As of this moment, the shipment is listed as delayed and it does not look like my cars will make the race...

My cars arrived at the local FedEx sorting facility in Council Bluffs, IA (across the River from Omaha) at 630am Wensday morning. It didnt get delivered until 7pm Thursday. I was sweating bullets for a while. It would truly suck if HurriCrane, Jupiter and other cars get hung up across the bridge. Its probably less than 10 miles away. If these cars dont make it by start time, I'm for delaying the race, even if it comes back to bite me.

Jupiter cars are now scheduled to deliver Saturday at some point, so some time before 5:00.

I am willing to bite the bullet & send 2 cars for the Scout race AM overnight direct to claas but I'm not sure how to contact Greg to let him know what I doing. I'll get on the facebook page & see what I can find before we pull that trigger.
