Introducing Turbo Chucks!

Turbo Chucks are a two-piece system that allows a racer to polish ALL wheel running surfaces WITHOUT the risk of damaging ANY of these critical areas!

The tools consist of:
Turbo Chuck - Use to polish the wheel tread and outer hub. Turbo Chuck can also be used when polishing the bore.
Turbo Pot Chuck - Use to polish the tread edge and inner hub. Turbo Pot Chuck can also be used when polishing the bore.

Both Turbo Chucks are designed to precisely fit the Pinewood Derby wheels and distribute clamping pressure broadly across non-critical areas. There is no need to worry about stretching or scratching the wheel bores or deforming the wheel!

The Turbo Chucks fits any post 2009 BSA wheel (there is a pre-2009 available as well)

The Turbo Pot Chuck comes in multiple sizes:
1.18 – fits stock wheels and wheels cut down to 1.16
1.13 – for some vendor versions of Scout MidAmerica Wheels
1.12 – can handle wheels from 1.12 down to 1.08
Also have 1.10 and 1.08 for racers who want size specific chucks.

Over the years I have done the polish work by putting the wheel on the pin in my lathe or occasionally when helping a scout at their house I would use a pin gauge mounted in a cordless drill.

These chucks work really well and no worries of somehow hurting the wheel bore if a person isn't careful with a pin.

Brian, I must tell you I love these chucks. In the past I used my pin to work all the outer edges. On many occasions I damaged my bore. It was very frustrating to say the least. I’m happy you came up with this design because I will use it as long as I continue racing.
