2021 Man of the Mountain World Finals
Everything you may need to know about MOTM World Finals will hopefully be in this post.
Date: November 6th with racing starting at 12:00pm MT
Location: NPWDRL Headquarters, 2702 E. Rasmussen Dr., St. George, UT
Track will be available for testing/tuning on November 4th and 5th for those that are planning to come live.
If you are planning to come live, comment below so Joel and Ronda will have a headcount of what to expect.
Current List of Live Racers:
S@HD Racing
Scout Class, BASX Am, and Street Rod Bracket Racing will all be run just like a normal monthly race. Breakout time for Bracket Race will be 2.987.
The 10 MOTM Classes will be run in 3 rounds. A Quarter-Final race in round made up of all racers that are in bottom 50% of total points earned throughout the 8 Ice and Fire series races. Only the top car will advance to the Semi-Finals to meet up with all racers in the top 50% of total points. Top four builders from the Semi-Finals round move onto the Finals. This will include any cars from the top 3 builders that are faster than the 4th place car. The Ice and Fire series points winners will get automatic entry to the Finals.
Here is link to Google Sheet that shows qualifying positions for each of the MOTM classes.
The best 5 MOTM Class finishes for each builder will be used to calculate their points total for determining the Overall 2021 MOTM World Champion.
Points available for each class will be weighted based on the number of builders participating in that class at the MOTM race.
