I wanted to clarify a couple of things before I send a car in and find out it's not legal.

I will be using stock AWANA wheels and axles because that's what we are required to use at our church and I'm just looking to improve my own times at this point.

First question, is the head on an AWANA axle considered a nail head, and am I allowed to taper the inside of the head or does it have to remain square/flat like a nail. I might have answered my own question.

Second question, can the edge of the wheel tread be slightly rounded off or must this edge remain square? Can the hub be conned like with the pro hub tool or must that surface also remain square.

I think BASX requires a bsa wheel so I don't think you are permitted to use an awana wheel. I'll check but box stock might allow it but if you race box stock you are not permitted to modify the wheel in any way. In addition, I think the awana axles measure .091" and box stock will limit you to .089".

Not legal for box stock or basx.

Like everybody has said above, all of your modifications would be legal in Street Stock.

Wheels must be 2.0 grams or more and have at least 7.5mm tread width.... your axles and modifications are fine.
