For all the upcoming Rookies or Rookies starting over in 2018, Build yourself 2 Basx cars and start working on your alignment, tracking and prep. Joel has really nice New Style wheels that I suggest starting with. If you can make it to a live race I suggest you go and you will learn a lot. Do not get caught up in making other cars for other classes until you are comfortable with your AM cars in Basx. I missed the first 4 months of 2017 fumbling around and not sending in to race except in March where are slammed a couple cars together that I wasn't proud of and they tanked. Use Jan-May to get your cars on point for the MOTM and then start looking at other classes. Don't be the shy person and be afraid to reach out to people and ask questions or you will fall behind and get frustrated. It is a tuff year to be a rookie and figuring out these cars can make you go bald and age 10 years. LOL You will succeed if you are dedicated and want it. Start now! Just my 2 cents!!!
