Cool design as usual - hope you send it in SS Pro class as it will get DQ'ed in Open scouts race 'cause the raised wheel is covered by balsa the rules say clear covers only - they have to be able to see the lettering clearly behind the wind shields!

Good luck in the SS Pro race good to see you finally build a car and race.

It did not even occur to me until you mentioned it Vikas.

Luckily I know the SS rules from a few years ago, so I didn't have to bother reading them. Thankfully they have not changed... but, now that we are on the subject...

I have to say that I find the raised wheel rule to be rather distasteful for SS...

It is something of a planned loophole in the rules that has gone on long enough in my opinion...

The look of the car is totally thrown out of whack, and it makes the build much, much more difficult.

Just my 2 cents.

Well we had a blast at MA once again.. nephew's car in open graphite finished 6th in Webelos and then we picked up speed in finals to finish 5th overall... Now my son in the qualified graphite ended up 1st in Lions then in finals our times dropped some but was enough to hold on for first overall

Super stoked as this has been a goal to win council race at MA since we began 4 years ago. Two years ago we came close with my older son as a Webelos 2 came in third... Pics to follow
